April 25, 2022. HDH Principal and Founder, Heather Hu, has been invited to attend the Tory Burch Foundation Embrace Ambition Summit in New York City at the Lincoln Center on June 14, 2022. The Embrace Ambition Summit was first held in 2017, bringing together inspiring women entrepreneurs from around the world for conversations and performances from leaders in business, entertainment, science, social justice, and sports. The Tory Burch Foundation received thousands of applications from women entrepreneurs that have overcome stereotypes and challenges to launch successful businesses, and five-hundred women were selected to attend the 2022 Embrace Ambition Summit in person. Heather Hu’s dedication to mentoring women and creating opportunities within the nonprofit sector for people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds is central to the vision for HDH Advancement Group. Additionally, Heather’s determination to thrive as a nonprofit leader and business executive has always been balanced with her primary role, as a devoted, full-time, single mom to her two sons.
